My Club

Postby barr » Wed Jan 05, 2005 1:13 pm

Just was crunching some numbers of time put in to karate by myself and how many lessons my club has had in it's 8 years of existance.

I totalled up the # of lessons people who are not coming anymore had before they left, quit or took time off. (Roughly 140 people)

Total lessons of all the 140 people: 3162 lessons at 2 hours per lesson = 6324 hours of teaching wandering around the globe from me.

That's a lot of my time seemingly lost! I wonder if they continue elsewhere or just give it up.

What are your clubs like? I have about 20-25 people coming to mine right now. Their totals are:

Total lessons: 1714 (3428 hours)

The highest ranking belt from my club is a 3 kyu brown belt. (He would have been a black belt by now, but University took him away for most of the last three years)

I'm just rambling...
