hmmm...cold weather..must be nice! Then again, I DO remember hating cold weather soccer practices in HS 'cause everything stung just that much more.

About the chi kung, does everyone do sort of the same thing, breathing excersices, yi jin jing...etc, or is it style specific? Just curious.

By the way, I wanted to address the weiner chi kung issue and say that I actually put togther a video on just that topic  ...I was working with a smaller budget but I'm sure you'll enjoy it...check your local weiner chi kung suppliers :P

Hey guys! Today is my birthday and I might go and have an orange soda to celebrate! Sounds pretty cool huh! Anyhow, chi kung stuff - there is a class that is run every week-day (except Friday which is chin-na instead) and the guy that runs it is named Master Hu - let me tell you about this guy real quick...he's like, 72 years old, looks like he's maybe late 50's, is still very flexible, nimble and agile and strong as an ox! He can bench press more than I can! oh, he's also like a little more than 5 feet tall - always smiling...the guy is crazy powerful...he grabs you and shakes a little and you go flying...it's pretty cool! So his class is every day for an hour and it is pretty much the same routine with some variations every now and then, but it's my favorite class. Training otherwise, I have learned so far, 3 short (as in not many steps to complete them) fist forms, one emphasizing sweeps, the other a basic shaolin stance form and the third a short little fist form. I am currently learning the first shaolin staff form and it is bad ass! A lot of fun and very powerful. Oh yeah , almost forgot - I have learned another fist form that only my sifu teaches...it's called "army form" and it is sooooo cool - from start to finis it is a veritable powerhouse of ass kicking - definitely one I am going to teach when I get back - it is great! That's about it, it hasn't snowed, in fact it's been quite sunny here - the lakes are freezing over though - so it's pretty cold!
Take care guys!

Hello (hello- hello- hello...that's the echo)
Well, sure is lonely up in here! It's snowing!
That's about all, nothing new really, I start a new fist form tomorrow and I'm almost done learning tai chi 24, next 42 then maybe fan, sword and finally chen style!
That should take me the remainder of my stay here.
Oh yeah, Dan, I miss you...write me or something and tell me what's up...I mean, not even a reply for my birthday! Maybe I have an incorrect email address or something, or maybe you're pissed off at me or , I don't know.
