i made it to okinawa, and 3 typhoons and an earthquake later
i have internet access. if somebody has something they want
from okinaw, i can ship through the regular postal service.

i'm still getting used to driving on the wrong side of the road.
nothing like pulling out into the street, seeing somebody coming
down the road in your lane and thinking "great, some goober
new guy on the island doesn't know which side of the street
to drive on" and then noticing that it's you. i'm mostly past that,
but still haven't internalized that left turns are now much easier
than right turns (no crossing traffic.)

my training search will probably start up more so in a month after
the rest of our stuff gets here, but i'd be interested in suggestions.

Excellent, dan! glad things are settling down and you're connected again.

as far as training, i believe the head of montoya's traditional style is there on okinawa. the style is motobu-ryu, but also there's another gm they're connected with as well - zempo shimabukuro, who's also there. lastly, i'm thinking that dan kennedy's kobodu style still has it's origins there, and that would be master oto's line if you dig for it.

so you coming to the camp in a few weeks? :unibrow:

hugs to you and capt. connie!

Get your dates set for the spring one, we have a free
flight back to the states for "COT" (Hawaii and Okinawa
count as consecutive overseas tours) travel that we
have to use in the next year and Connie has a bunch
of leave. That's the only date constrained thing I'm
hoping to make.
