Name that movie...

Random chatter; if it's not about martial arts in some way, keep it here.

1: "So, uh, what do you wanna do tonight?"

2: "Mmm, get a pizza, watch Degrassi Jr. High."

1: "You got a weird thing for Canadian melodrama."

2: "I got a weird thing for girls who say 'aboot'."

This shouldn't take too long...

OK, I've decided not a quote, but an interesting Jeopdardy-esque question.

And the answer is, "This movie was one of George Lucas' greatest inspirations for the movie 'Star Wars'."

Please answer in the form of a question.

That would be Howard the Duck.

Ya know, this movie came out when I was very young, and it used to scare me, I don't really know why though, I was just terrified of that duck :?

ok, I was trying to not use some of the more obvious quotes to make it a challenge, let's see what you do with this:

"Oh, that 'what now.' I tell you what now between me and you. There is no me and you. Not no more."

:) She's an Oz friend who does iaido and also participates in the About and Delphi martial arts forums ( http://forums.about.com/ab-martialarts ), and I'm glad she made her way over here. (Welcome JB! BTW, was it you who mentioned choco-covered digestives? - I miss those from my stints in the UK, too. Also, feel free to post an intro on the General MA section sometime if ya feel like it.)

On top of which, she's a first-class grade A babe whom I love as my own sister. And she's deadly with trash cans and steel-cap boots.

And R O dubl S: I have a friend who used to get nightmares about Howard the Duck. So you're not alone. But you, like him, are obviously a freak. :D
